This was a rough week in terms of school, but I did it! I made it through and with success. I did a crap ton of research for my gender project. I found many articles ob sex education but no articles that deal with teaching teens reproductive health (things not necessarily related to sex like breast cancer and testicular cancer. Prevention techniques for both should be included in sex ed or health programs). I have enough to write a solid paper though.
I’m proud of myself and happy with life again. I am going to bed now. I have a biomedical science seminar to attend at 9am tomorrow. I feel mature and intelligent lol.

I just need to vent about this project.
THERE ARE WAY TOO MANY REASONS WHY TEENAGERS AREN’T RECIEVING ADEQUATE REPRODUCTIVE HEALTH EDUCATION IN SCHOOLS AND I CANNOT DO ALL THE RESEARCH AND PUT IT ALL IN A 10 PAGED PAPER.
It’s not all about sex and condoms either.
It’s about republicans and their freaking morals.
Sorry, that’s a rude way to put it…
But seriously, most republicans in office only provide funding to abstinence only programs because they think comprehensive sex ed programs cause teens to have MORE sex. What kind of ass backwards shit is that!?
WHAT ABOUT CERVICAL CANCER AND PENIS CANCER? YOU DON’T CARE ABOUT THAT!? Because those topics sure as hell won’t appear in your “NO SEX EVER” program.
I just want to cry now.
I’m done…..
(everything will be fine. I’ll figure this project out. I really love it. Reproductive health is my thing you know. I just needed to scream a little bit lol)
